WORKERS Lot 806XH, Full-Back, 14.7 oz, Indigo Raw Denim

WORKERS presents a new 13.7-9oz denim, their first new release in approximately 10 years. Inspired by the detection of sulfur in denim from the wartime era, they created a "dark" denim by applying sulfur black at the end of the pure indigo dyeing process. The yarn is WORKERS' custom-made No. 7, EMOT (Eastern Memphis Orleans) American cotton. Originally, dyeing was done by Kaihara, but from now on, weaving will also be done by Kaihara. The selvedge is red, whereas the pure indigo 100 used in the regular 801 has a blue selvedge. The thread count of the fabric is the same as the previous 801 fabric, but the weaving tension is different, so it has a slightly rougher, stiffer feel than before. At first, it may seem so dark that you might think it's "black denim," but the color will definitely fade. We are currently creating a fading sample, so please wait for that. The specifications include four buttons and a buckle. The buttons feature laurel wreaths and a wartime design, but the rivets, which bear the WORKERS logo, are used both above and below the jacket. Rather than specific individual pieces, the overall feel is inspired by wartime models.
