At the end of winter, soft light shines through gaps in the leaden clouds, gently enveloping the cold earth. This garment evokes a quiet scene that suggests the arrival of spring. It is lighter than YSK-26SS-KN05, with fewer threads used. The base uses the reverse side of a jersey knit, representing the dark and closed-off winter, while the line down the center of the body represents the light shining through the gaps in the clouds. The seams of the armholes, sleeves, and sides are exposed to express the transition from winter to spring. It uses a beautiful, lustrous yarn made from supple and smooth Supima extra-long staple cotton, with the fuzz removed by gas burning. The fine 80-count yarn is bundled together to create a 12-gauge knit, resulting in a thin yet firm fabric. The garment is finished in homage to a kimono pattern, a staple of YASHIKI, so that the shoulders drape softly when worn. The cuffs feature the brand's iconic [Yagasuri] pattern.
