MAX HIGH COUNT HEMP / MIDDLE WEIGHT (NEW VERSION)

This original material was woven at a weaving mill in the Bishu region. It is a plain weave fabric woven with medium-fine count hemp yarn at the highest possible density in both warp and weft. After weaving, it is treated with Nidom processing, which intentionally causes the fabric to shrink significantly and creates an uneven surface. In addition, the friction of the fabric surface during processing softens the surface fibers, resulting in a moist, almost napped texture. When woven at high density, the fabric is as stiff as canvas, but after Nidom processing, it develops a texture that is like an old cloth that has been cherished for many years.
