Yonetomi NEW BASIC is the in-house brand of a long-established knitwear manufacturer founded in 1952 in Yamabe Town, Yamagata Prefecture, by Ryoichi Oe, the grandfather of the current representative director, Ken Oe. Now, more than ever, as our everyday lives are changing, we believe it is necessary to re-examine mass production and mass consumption in manufacturing and pass it on to the next generation, rather than just focusing on rapidly changing fashion trends.
