This new terry cloth material is tightly knitted on a 28G high-density terry cloth machine. The face yarn uses 105D high-shrinkage cupro yarn. The fabric is processed using fibril processing (a process that rubs the small fibers within the fibers to make the surface fluffy), resulting in a unique luster and smooth feel. The inner surface uses double-ply Suvin cotton yarn for a smooth and comfortable feel against the skin.
It features an unprecedentedly smooth texture. With a weight somewhere between sweatshirt and jersey knit, it can be worn all year round. Sewn in one of Japan's leading cut-and-sew factories, the high-density fabric, which is said to be difficult to sew, is beautifully finished.
The ribbed areas are all constructed with blouson stitching, creating a relaxed design. This adds a touch of laid-back style that contrasts with the glossy fabric.

By carefully calculating every part, from the armholes and body width to the hood, and then drafting the pattern, we maximize the potential of the fabric.

Sewn at one of Japan's leading knitwear factories, the high-density fabric is finished beautifully despite its reputation for being difficult to sew.
The ribbed edges are all sewn using a braiding technique, creating a relaxed, draped design. The lustrous fabric is paired with relaxed details for a contrasting effect.

The cupro fleece fabric, which was released in Spring/Summer 2025 and received great reviews, now has a unique sheen and texture, making it a new staple for KANEMASA PHIL. The ribbed finish makes it even more comfortable to wear.
In the end, I wear these the most. The material is slimy yet has a unique, almost tame feel.
This half-zip hoodie has a unique shape that gives it a vintage feel. I think a lot of people have been wanting something like this. It reminds me of an anorak from a certain outdoor brand that I like.
It also features the classic slash pocket.
