Description

I knitted this twill knit using a super high gauge of 46G.
It offers high stretchability and an irresistible comfort once you put it on, and it's also easy to care for, with minimal wrinkles and changes in shape during wear. Furthermore, it achieves an iridescent effect by using a two-bath dyeing process (a method of dyeing different materials in succession using two different dye solutions) with recycled polyester and recycled spin.
We have expressed patterns and colors that were previously only achievable through traditional weaving.
The carefully calculated color scheme and high gauge knit on both the front and back create a new textile that reveals different expressions depending on the viewing angle.
A new standard material that only we can create, possessing firmness, luster, and easy care.
These new pants are a modified version of Gurkha pants. The waistband uses snap buttons for easy on and off, and the button placement allows for waist adjustment.
These trousers are designed with a firm fit through the thighs, allowing the fabric to drape nicely, and feature a double-stitched hem for a dressy look.

English Description We have knitted a super-high-gauge twill knit at 46G. It offers exceptional stretch and an irresistibly comfortable feel once worn, with minimal creasing or shape distortion during wear and high ease of care. Furthermore, by employing a two-bath dyeing process (dyeing different materials consecutively in two separate dye baths) using recycled polyester and recycled spinnets, we have achieved an iridescent effect. This technique expresses patterns and colors previously achievable only in woven fabrics. The calculated color scheme on both sides, combined with the high gauge, creates a new textile that reveals different expressions depending on the viewing angle. A new standard material, unique to us, combining crispness, lustre, and easy care. A new style of trousers, modified from the Ghurka design. Dot buttons around the waist make them easy to put on and take off, while also allowing waist adjustment by changing the button position. With a generous rise to emphasise the fabric's drape, and a double-finished hem, this pair is finished to a dress Standard trousers.

Solaro knit is a nostalgic material known only to those in the know. We offered it in the early days of the brand, and since it's a material that appeals to connoisseurs, we've kept it in storage for several seasons. I thought it felt right now, so it's making a comeback after a long time.
We offer two color options: the classic charcoal and black, which are easy to match, and the khaki beige and orange, which are the quintessential Solaro colors.
This process involves many steps. After dyeing and applying a resin treatment to give it firmness, we added an extra step that wasn't done with older materials.
Because the twill weave is prone to snagging and can easily become fuzzy with prolonged wear, we've added a singeing process to give it a more solid and polished look.
This process gives the fabric a softer texture and a completely different feel. Various details have been modified from Gurkha pants.
The biggest concern with Gurkha pants is probably how difficult they are to put on and take off. In true Kanemasa style, we've used snap buttons for easy fastening and a lightweight, comfortable fit.
The waist can be freely adjusted by changing the position of the snap buttons, making these pants wearable without a belt.
The double-stitched hem is not simply a matter of traditional design; it's also adopted to improve wearability by creating a neat and tidy silhouette with a wider leg opening.
This piece, made with a specially selected material in the LOOK section, is sure to attract a lot of attention. It's a garment we highly recommend enjoying as a set.

Brand Concept
KANEMASA PHIL. is an original brand of a circular knitwear manufacturer based in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, which originated from Kanemasa Knitwear Co., Ltd., founded in 1964.
To ensure the continuation of our unique knitting machines specializing in high gauge knitting, our jacquard machines capable of freely expressing a variety of patterns, and the distinctive skills and craftsmanship required to operate these machines with ease, our own brand KANEMASA was launched in the Spring/Summer 2021 season. *From the Autumn/Winter 2023 season, coinciding with our overseas launch, the brand name will be changed to "KANEMSA PHIL."
The brand's iconic logo was designed by Clement Johant, and the resulting design blends the historical context of the 1960s, when the company was founded, with European culture.
Based on the concept of "FUTURE CLASSIC / FUTURE VINTAGE," we create clothing for the future as we envision it today. We consider the future and offer a wardrobe that makes the wearer feel comfortable, happy, and joyful.
KANEMASA PHIL. products, which reflect the innovation, creativity, craftsmanship, and tradition we have cultivated and built up over the years, are made without compromise, from materials to design.
PHIL. is derived from the ancient Greek word φίλος (phílos, "beloved"), and is an abbreviation of derived words such as Philosophy ("philosophy," "love of wisdom and knowledge"), philharmony ("love of harmony"), and phile ("lover").
Based on the philosophy of "looking back at history and creating the future," we chose our brand name with the desire to share our products with the world.
