KANEMASA PHIL 28G Cupro Zip Sweat BLACK(Night Black)

This new terry cloth material is tightly knitted on a 28G high-density terry cloth machine. The face yarn uses 105D high-shrinkage cupro yarn. The fabric is processed using fibril processing (a process that rubs the small fibers within the fibers to make the surface fluffy), resulting in a unique luster and smooth feel. The inner surface uses double-ply Suvin cotton yarn for a smooth and comfortable feel against the skin.
It features an unprecedentedly smooth texture. With a weight somewhere between sweatshirt and jersey knit, it can be worn all year round. Sewn in one of Japan's leading cut-and-sew factories, the high-density fabric, which is said to be difficult to sew, is beautifully finished. The ribbed edges are all blouson-stitched, creating a relaxed design. Relaxed details are added in contrast to the glossy fabric. It features a modern fit silhouette.
We maximize the potential of the fabric by carefully calculating every part, from the armholes and body width to the hood, and then creating the pattern. The collar is designed to look neat whether folded down or worn up.

The garment is sewn at one of Japan's leading knitwear factories, where the high-density fabric, which is said to be difficult to sew, is finished beautifully. The ribbed areas are all sewn using a braiding technique, creating a relaxed, draped design. The lustrous fabric is contrasted with relaxed details. The modern fit silhouette is a key feature.
Every part, from the armholes and body width to the hood, is meticulously calculated and patterned to maximize the fabric's potential. The collar is designed to look neat whether folded down or up.

The cupro fleece fabric, which was released in Spring/Summer 2025 and received great reviews, now has a unique sheen and texture, making it a new staple for KANEMASA PHIL. The ribbed finish makes it even more comfortable to wear.
In the end, I wear these the most. The material is slimy yet has a unique, almost tame feel.
I created this with the image of a new driver's knit in mind. It has a unique color and sheen that gives it a vintage feel. I think a lot of people have been wanting something like this. I think this is the kind of thing you'll wear the most.

KANEMASA PHIL. is an original brand of a circular knitwear manufacturer based in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, which originated from Kanemasa Knitwear Co., Ltd., founded in 1964.

The brand's iconic logo was designed by Clement Johant, and the resulting design blends the historical context of the 1960s, when the company was founded, with European culture.

Based on the philosophy of "looking back at history and creating the future," we chose our brand name with the desire to share our products with the world.
