A classic Modified Fit shirt. The button-down style is inspired by vintage Brks shirts. The collar stand allows the tie to fit neatly, but it's neither too high nor too low. The collar flares are neither too long nor too short. "The perfect balance."
No hanger loop, no shoulder yoke stitching. The silhouette has a fitted feel to the body but isn't too tight. The shoulder width is neither too low nor too low. The master size is about 75 cm in length, which can be worn both tucked in and out. The armholes (vertical dimensions) have a reasonable amount of room and are not restrictive.
In this way, the dimensions are determined based on functionality, and the pattern is created accordingly. It's not a shirt that's just about design, but a shirt that's designed with engineering in mind.

The material is the classic Supima Oxford series. To be honest, it's much more expensive than it used to be! But this uniform surface is only possible because of the high quality of the yarn.
Matilda Check/Stripe in Beige is a newly created fabric. Currently, ordering it with Supima cotton would further increase the retail price. We searched for other cottons that could achieve a uniformity comparable to Supima. Compact yarn. This yarn is spun to incorporate the fuzz on the surface of the yarn, making the surface as flat as possible. We don't specify a brand for the raw cotton, but select it based on quality. Poplin 2 The fabric is thin at 3 ounces.
It's honestly too cold in January, so it's best suited for spring through mid-summer. Chambray is about 5 ounces, roughly the same weight as oxford cloth. However, because the weave is looser than oxford, it can just barely be worn in the summer.
And as you wear and wash it repeatedly, the indigo dye will fade. In the fall, you can enjoy a shirt with a nice faded color.
