California Sportswear's USMC HB P-44 MONKEY PT "Monkey Pants" are a faithful reproduction of the original, made using cotton herringbone. The name comes from the extra-large hip pockets, but this distinctive feature was later discontinued for safety reasons, and to be precise, it was only delivered and produced for one year, from 1944 to 1945, making it an extremely rare model. These pants were used in the field and feature large rear pockets that were used to store food and grenades.
