WILD THINGS MAKALU JACKET

This jacket is a modified version of the archived 'MAKALU JACKET,' featuring authentic specifications including seam sealing.
By adding gussets under the sleeves and using a three-dimensional sleeve pattern, the volume and sizing of the archived design have been recreated.
The down filling uses recycled down (approximately 700FP) from Kawada Feather.
The chest features an adapted version of the old WILD CAT logo.
The rounded silhouette gives it a retro, outdoorsy feel.
The outer fabric is WILD THINGS' original 3-layer REPEREX MOISTURE PRO, which is specially designed for breathability, and the filling uses 700FP Kawada recycled down.
By encasing the down in a tubular shape, a layer of air is created between the tubes, resulting in a structure that provides greater warmth.
Furthermore, it achieves a more three-dimensional and substantial voluminous silhouette compared to down products of the same volume.
The chest features a redesigned and revived version of the old WILD CAT logo.
The inside features a name tag with the WILD THINGS CODE, quoted from archival materials.

【REPELEX】
REPELEX is a WILD THINGS original 3-layer fabric.
With six effects—water-repellent, waterproof, breathable, stretchable, durable, and lightweight—it repels all kinds of stress (discomfort).
The name is a portmanteau of "REPEL" (to bounce back) and "TEXTILE," and the logo is based on a hexagon motif representing six functions.
While the 24FW collection featured WATER PRO, which has particularly excellent water resistance, this time it uses MOSTURE PRO, which specializes in breathability.
Specifications include water resistance of 20,000mm or more and moisture permeability of 48,000g/m2/24h.

【KAWADA DOWN】
The product uses recycled down feathers collected in Japan, disassembled, and cleaned.
During recycling, the feathers undergo dust removal, washing, drying, and sorting again, resulting in a cleaner appearance than typical new feathers. Furthermore, Kawada Feather's advanced feather cleaning and restoration technology restores functions such as heat retention and moisture absorption.
This high-quality down meets Kawada Feather's own stringent recycled feather inspection standards (cleanliness level 3000mm) and is equivalent to 700FP.
By shaping the down into a tubular form, it creates a more three-dimensional and substantial volume compared to other down products using the same amount of down.
Furthermore, the tubular shape creates an air layer, making it feel warmer than regular down products.
