JC Penney was founded in Wyoming in 1902 by James Cash Penney and others.
As a general store, it produced and sold a variety of brands. From around 1940, it released store brands such as BIGMAC, PAY-DAY, and TOWNCRAFT, one of which was the PENNEYS label.
We learn design sources from vintage PENNEYS clothing that was sold for about 30 years from 1940 to 1970, and preview and develop comfortable, easy-to-wear clothing for today.
