The MAKALU JACKET from the WILDTHINGS archives has been modified and adapted for urban use.

The outer fabric is lightweight SAITOS 3-layer nylon ripstop,
The filling uses recycled down (approximately 700FP) from Kawada Feather.
The chest features a reinterpretation of the old WILD CAT logo.
The rounded silhouette gives it a retro, outdoorsy feel.
A new name tag has been added to the inside. The new name tag incorporates the WILD THINGS CODE, which is connected to the brand concept of "Light is Right," and was taken from archival materials.

KAWADA DOWN
This product uses recycled down collected in Japan, which is dismantled, cleaned, and then sorted. Because the down undergoes further dust removal, washing, drying, and sorting during the recycling process, it is said to be cleaner than typical new down. Furthermore, Kawada Feather's advanced down cleaning and restoration technology restores functions such as heat retention and moisture absorption. It meets Kawada Feather's own strict recycled down inspection standards (cleanliness level of 3000 mm) and is high-quality down equivalent to 700 FP.

WILD THINGS is an outdoor brand founded in 1981 in North Conway, Massachusetts, by John Bouchard and Marie Meunier, two of America's leading mountaineers.
In 1984, Marie became the first woman to climb Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Andes Mountains. Drawing on her extensive experience in challenging mountaineering expeditions, she created high-quality products based on the concept that they "must be light and tough."
