Description

This shirt jacket is designed based on a 1940s US Navy utility jacket.
The materials available are 8oz denim with gray threads woven into the weft and poplin made from organic cotton.
The boxy silhouette has a relaxed fit, and the hem has been updated with tabs to allow for silhouette adjustments.
The chest features a large flap pocket with a gusset, similar to the original, but positioned slightly lower. It has also been redesigned with a two-layer structure so that you can access it from the side as well.
This jacket, available in denim and poplin, allows you to enjoy the changes that occur over time.

Composition: 100% Cotton
Made in Japan

Drawing inspiration from classic Western military, work, dress, and sportswear, and considering each garment as a "tool" suited to its specific purpose, we carefully select the designs, materials, and functionality that deserve to be inherited. We then evolve these styles into original clothing by adding the values necessary for today's era, along with the unique delicacy and meticulousness of Japan.
*A VONTADE's clothing is undeniably casual, but because "casual" means everyday wear, it must be tough, meticulously crafted, and built to last. Committed to manufacturing in its home country of Japan, the brand leverages its high level of technical expertise to create garments that retain their value over time and gain character with wear.
In spirit *A VONTADE is casual to the utmost, but since casual apparel is everyday wear we believe it must possess toughness and be wearable for many years to come. With meticulous attention paid to the smallest details, we strive to create clothing that has worth even with the passage of time, developing still greater character as it is worn.
