Rust draws the traces of time. By layering logwood and other natural dyes onto "rust dyeing," which captures the process of iron decaying, deep, rich colors and textures are created. Colors harvested from the forest overlap, carving "layers of time" onto the fabric. The silhouette created by unique cutting techniques follows the body while still providing room, bringing out new expressions through layering. No two pieces are alike. This is not by chance, but a trajectory carved by nature and time. It is not weathering, but a form of regeneration. WhERE is FAKE An art gallery with the theme "salvage&trans," reinterpreting overlooked items and questioning the boundaries of value. MISAKI USHIOZU A dyeing artist based in Hokuto City, Yamanashi, who uses natural materials and time to express the traces of life through dyeing. 1. CAPSULE COLLECTION Circular clothing. Re-edited value. Dyeing by nature and time. The intersection of different domains creates "clothing imbued with time and life." 2. DYEING Rust dyeing, capturing time. Hand-dyeing by MISAKI USHIOZU creates unique expressions in each piece, responding to nature. Logwood is a natural dye also used in Mayan civilization. Its deep color imprints a quiet depth onto the fabric. Forest materials and rust overlap, creating more complex "layers of time." Each piece is unique, bearing different traces. *Color and pattern vary from piece to piece. *Has the unique texture of rust dyeing. 3. SILHOUETTE A three-dimensional silhouette created by unique cutting. Designed to follow the body while allowing for room, creating new balance through layering.
