The "MOUNTAIN PEAK DOWN JACKET" is a high-spec down jacket jointly developed by professional mountaineer Hirotaka Takeuchi and NANGA, designed for mountain environments of 6,000 meters or higher. It combines insights gained from mountaineering experience with NANGA's down wear manufacturing technology to thoroughly pursue comfort and reliability during activity.
The outer fabric uses 13-denier nylon, which is lightweight yet possesses strength, durability, and water repellency. The high-density woven, waterproof and breathable laminated 2.5-layer structure ensures comfort even in harsh environments.
The down filling consists of 100g of ULDX (Hungarian silver goose down, 95-5%, 900FP) treated with a super water-repellent finish. It offers a lightweight feel while providing reliable warmth.
In terms of design, the sharp silhouette and three-dimensional cut ensure ease of movement. Different sized pockets are placed on the chest and sides, allowing for efficient storage of various gear such as gloves and devices. The back features padding designed for backpack use, and ventilation is provided at the neck and hem, balancing humidity control and comfort.

Nanga was founded in 1941 by the previous generation's Akira Yokota, in the Omi region, a production area for silk floss futons.
The company name is derived from Nanga Parbat, an 8,000-meter-class peak in the Himalayas. We are a 74-year-old domestic manufacturer of down products, located at the foot of Mount Ibuki in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture.
Nanga Parbat, at 8126m, is the ninth highest mountain in the world and is also known as the "Man-Eating Mountain." It is a notoriously difficult mountain to climb, and has claimed many lives in the past. The company name reflects the founder's belief that "it's precisely because it's difficult that we should do it, and we'll climb where no one else will."
