This model was designed with inspiration from the simplified, minimalist coveralls of the 1940s wartime era.
The design is simple, fulfilling only the bare minimum requirements for workwear, with features such as a reduced number of pockets, minimal stitching, and standardized laurel wreath buttons used by other companies.
The third buttonhole from the top was originally for threading a chain through to attach a pocket watch, in the era when pocket watches were the norm.
This simple and versatile piece incorporates details from the 1940s.
The material used is original 9oz selvedge denim, which will develop a sense of attachment and change over time as you wear and wash it repeatedly.
