Based on a denim hat used by the US Navy in the 1940s, this hat retains the unique vintage feel while being improved in terms of quality and other aspects.
Our 9oz original selvedge denim is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, starting from the cotton stage. We pursued the perfect balance of yarn irregularities, yarn count, and thread count to recreate the workwear denim that actually existed in America from the 1940s to the early 1960s.
Due to the unevenness of the yarn and the use of old-fashioned shuttle looms, the fabric surface has a rough, uneven texture. Repeated wear and washing will cause it to fade, developing a unique character.
