WORKERS Officer Trousers Regular Type2, WKS Covert

Officer Trousers, a staple item, yet subtly changing in silhouette, lineup, and specifications every season. They're essentially "chino pants."
I tried making the Regular size with a 20cm hem width, using the same specifications as the Slim size I've made before, including a back flap pocket and a center back seam.
If the back pockets have narrow or single-welt closures, they definitely look like "chinos," with an atmosphere similar to military chinos. In contrast, simply having flap pockets on the back instantly gives them a more "trousers" feel.
The back center is also split rather than rolled (double-stitched). While not highly recommended as it leaves visible stitching marks on the cotton, it can be used to achieve precise dimensions. (If you choose this method, no stitching will be visible.)

This fabric is made using a technique called "yori-moku," where threads dyed in a dark black and a light gray are twisted together to create the warp threads.
The yarn is dyed in two colors, then twisted together before weaving. The extra steps make the fabric expensive!!! But it's my favorite "heathered" fabric.
At first glance, it looks like wool, but it's actually cotton. Perhaps because the yarn is twisted, it has a firm texture.
