"Is it possible to wear long hose, which are usually worn with a suit, in casual settings as well?"
With this in mind, we asked HALISON, a sock manufacturer in Hyogo that has been producing long hose in Japan for over 50 years, to create a pair. These long hose, which are typically knitted in a high gauge like tights, were specially ordered in a medium-weight, mid-gauge.
It is designed to be worn comfortably with sneakers.
The material is made from New Zealand merino wool, which feels pleasant against the skin.
It's not itchy at all and doesn't feel stuffy or sweaty. It's also odor-resistant and dries quickly. It's the perfect material for socks.
Lycra polyurethane is used for the backing thread to give it stretchability.
It doesn't slip down easily and has a comfortable fit that isn't too tight.
In chilly seasons, you won't have to worry about the cold air seeping in through your feet, and the moderate warmth is a great feature.

*This product is made from washable wool (shrink-proof wool) that has been descaled, so it can be washed in a home washing machine. Please refrain from using a dryer as it may shrink slightly.
