gicipi started as the original brand of Maglificio Gicipi, founded in 1948.

gicipi has its own factory in the town of PADOVA in northern Italy, where vintage machines have been in active use for nearly 70 years.

Since our founding, we have been dedicated to crafting "natural fibers" that prioritize the feel of the skin and a "quality-oriented" approach based on meticulous and reliable craftsmanship.
