Although it looks like a simple canvas tote, it is a bag packed with MEYAME's signature attention to detail. The material used is high-density No. 10 canvas produced in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, a city known for its textiles. It is a material that can only be woven by skilled craftsmen on a shuttle loom at a rate of 50m per day. The high density of the weave creates an uneven surface, giving the fabric a fluffy texture. Furthermore, MEYAME has a unique process whereby the fabric is washed with plenty of fabric softener at the fabric stage, resulting in a soft and supple texture. Since it is something you will use daily, we made sure that it can be washed at home and is wrinkle-resistant. (Washing inside out and in a laundry net will help prevent wrinkles.) The bag itself is very light, so it doesn't get heavy even when you put a lot of luggage in it.
