California Sportswear's USMC HB P-44 MONKEY PT "Monkey Pants" are a faithful reproduction of the original, made with cotton herringbone fabric.
Its name comes from its oversized hip pockets, but this distinctive feature was quickly discontinued for safety reasons. Strictly speaking, it was only actually delivered and produced for a mere one year, from 1944 to 1945, making it an extremely rare and limited model.
These are field pants with distinctive large back pockets, used to hold food and grenades.
This garment features a vintage wash treatment, giving it a worn-in feel and making it a recommended choice for military enthusiasts.
