Description
This is the Rabart sweatshirt, a reproduction of the legendary athletic shirt "RABART," which obtained a design patent around the same time that the manufacturing patent for "REVERSE WEAVER®" was acquired in 1938.
By separating the patterns for the shoulders and body, we have improved ease of movement while also reducing concerns about shrinkage.
Key features include the large V-shaped neckline and binder neck design, which enhance the fit to the body and create a slope in the shoulders.
At the time, it wasn't sold under the Champion brand, but only briefly through some mail-order catalogs.
This reissue features a reproduction of the original collar label with the patent number, and also includes a new label indicating that Champion has obtained the patent.
Furthermore, the absence of the C logo patch on the left sleeve is also exactly as it was in the original specifications.
