Description
The origin of the idea "A shirt that can be worn as a light jacket" "Forestiere shirt version" When you think of Forestiere, you think of a stand collar and a protruding chin strap. However, if the collar was the same width as the jacket, it would be too thick and unbalanced, so I narrowed it down, inspired by vintage band collar shirts. The chest pockets are usually one on a shirt, but this one has two. They're also a little bigger, and placed on both sides of the waist. This makes it a little more like a jacket than a shirt. On the other hand, the hem and cuffs retain a shirt-like feel. I considered making the hem at a right angle to make it more jacket-like, but this time I went for a rounded shape with three rolled stitches in one stroke all the way around. The round shape gives it a classic feel. The cuffs are normal opening + cuffs, so they are easy to roll up. The parts are subtle but well-thought-out, such as the brown mother-of-pearl buttons. I wanted two holes and buttons to match the natural feel of the fabric. I chose brown butterfly buttons because they were neither pure white nor black. The fabric is cotton linen. The warp is cotton and the weft is linen yarn (dyed in its pure state). There are neps and scattered white fibers that haven't completely dyed indigo. The texture is so similar to vintage linen that I ended up using it... but it's expensive. Because it is too expensive, fabric stores cannot make it at their own risk, so it is made to order for WORKERS. The product has been overhauled.
