We've updated the classic 1940s mail bag. While using high-quality leather, we incorporated rounded lines throughout to soften the hard impression of the original design. This gives it a more relaxed feel that's easy for daily use, while still retaining its classic charm.

ABOUT LEATHER:
Using cow leather with an aniline finish, we selected leather of the appropriate thickness to properly shape the bag.
Although the weight is light, the bag maintains a solid shape. It features the natural texture of the leather, and its appeal lies in its softness and aging with each use.

The brand name CCU (CCU) comes from the festival called "Chagu Chagu Umako."
Chagu Chagu Umako originated from the 'horse love spirit' represented by the southern babbling families of Iwate, and back when horses were still used for farm work, The event originated from the only rest day established during the busy farming season.
CCU pays tribute to this horse spirit, making it a timeless product that grows with every use.
With the concept of "LEATHER-COMFORTALE-PRODUCT," they select soft leather materials that dispel the traditional image of leather being hard or difficult to wear, and create patterns that value the gap between the human body and the leather.
