KANEMASA PHIL. knits jersey fabric using KANEMASA PHIL.'s unique 46-gauge super high-gauge knitting machine, using 100% recycled vinyl cotton from 80/1.
Furthermore, by applying salt shrinkage, we created a unique grainy texture and a deep expression on the fabric surface.
It features a unique material feel unlike any other.
Afterward, the product is dyed (garment-dyed), and a special flexible dyeing process maximizes the natural drape and sheer feel of the material.
During the drying process, each piece is naturally dried one by one to finish without compromising the texture of the material.
Combining the lightness unique to high-gauge material with high stretch, it offers a comfortable fit you won't want to put down once you slip it on.
We propose it as a new classic material that can be worn effortlessly. We pay close attention to every detail in the sewing process, carefully crafting thin, difficult-to-handle high-gauge materials in skilled domestic sewing factories.
The hem, cuffs, and pockets are intentionally left raw, while the yoke and cuffs are gathered to achieve both craftsmanship and delicacy.
The details are designed based on the dress shirt. The buttons use luxurious shell and butterfly buttons, with brand engraving on the back.
The boxy silhouette with room is also one of its distinctive features. The beautiful drape that emerges when worn is a unique charm of this material.
Additionally, by minimizing the use of raw cut and interlining, the silhouette is built while preserving the natural texture of the fabric.

The fabric is then garment-dyed and undergoes a special softening process to maximize the material’s natural drape and sheer quality. Each piece is air-dried individually to ensure the fabric’s texture remains intact. Combining the lightness and high stretch typical of high-gauge fabrics, it offers a comfortable fit that you won’t want to take off once you put it on. We present this as a new staple fabric that drapes effortlessly. We’ve paid meticulous attention to every detail in the construction, carefully tailoring this thin, difficult-to-handle high-gauge fabric at a skilled domestic sewing factory. We’ve intentionally left the hems, cuffs, and pockets raw-edged, while adding gathers to the yoke and cuffs to harmonize a sense of craftsmanship with delicacy. The details are designed with a dress shirt as the foundation. We use high-quality mother-of-pearl buttons, each engraved with the brand logo on the reverse side. Another defining feature is the relaxed, boxy silhouette. The beautiful drape that forms when worn is a unique charm of this fabric.
