I knitted this twill knit using a super high gauge of 46G.
It offers high stretchability, providing an irresistible comfort once you put it on, and it's also easy to care for, with minimal wrinkles and changes in shape during wear.
Furthermore, the iridescent effect is achieved by using a two-bath dyeing process (a method of dyeing different materials in succession using two different dye solutions) with recycled polyester and recycled spin.
We have expressed patterns and colors that were previously only possible with woven fabrics. The carefully calculated color scheme and high gauge knit create a new textile that displays different expressions depending on the viewing angle, with distinct front and back surfaces. This is a new standard material that only we can create, possessing firmness, luster, and easy care.
These new pants are a modified version of Gurkha pants. The snap buttons at the waist make them easy to put on and take off, and also allow for waist adjustment by changing the button position. With a firm fit through the thighs, a nice drape to the fabric, and a double-stitched hem, these shorts have a dressy finish and can be worn elegantly.

We knitted a super-high-gauge 46G twill knit. Its high stretch provides an irresistibly comfortable feel once worn, while its minimal wrinkling and shape retention offer exceptional easy-care properties. Furthermore, using a two-bath dyeing process (dyeing different materials consecutively in two separate dye baths) with recycled polyester and recycled spinnets achieves an iridescent effect. This technique expresses patterns and colors previously achievable only in woven fabrics. The front and back, with their color scheme combined with the high calculated gauge, create a new textile that reveals different expressions depending on the viewing angle. A new standard material only we can create, combining crispness, sheen, and easy care. A new style of pants modified from Ghurka pants. Dot buttons around the waist make them easy to put on and take off, and the button position allows for waist adjustment. With a generous rise to showcase the fabric's drape, and a double finished hem for a dressy look, these are elegant shorts you can wear with sophistication.

Solaro knit fabric is a nostalgic material known only to those in the know.
I proposed this material in the early days of the brand, and since I thought it was a material that would appeal to connoisseurs, I let it sit for several seasons. I felt like it was the right time, so it's making a comeback after a long time.
It comes in two colors: the classic charcoal black, which is easy to match, and the khaki beige orange, which is the quintessential Solaro color.
This process involves many steps. After dyeing and applying a resin treatment to give it firmness, we added one more step that wasn't done with the old materials.
Because the twill weave is prone to snagging and can easily become fuzzy with prolonged wear, we've added a singeing process to give it a more solid and polished look.
As a result, the fabric becomes softer, giving the garment a completely different feel.
We modified various details from the original Gurkha pants. The biggest concern with Gurkha pants is that they are difficult to put on and take off. In true Kanemasa style, we used snap buttons for easy fastening and a lighter feel.
The waist can be freely adjusted by changing the position of the snap buttons, making these pants wearable without a belt.
The double-stitched hem is not simply a matter of traditional design; it's also adopted to improve wearability by creating a neat and tidy silhouette with a wider leg opening.
