OLD JOE BRAND PATINA HORSE-HIDE JEAN JACKET

Our signature material is patina horsehide.
The aging process, which naturally expresses the changes that occur over time, is applied by hand to each garment using an original recipe that was perfected through repeated trial and error.
The design is inspired by a denim jacket type from the 1930s, the early days of leather, and is an archive piece.
From the cuff details of the sports jacket to the elegant collar and the three-dimensional pattern-making of the fitting lines, classical design elements permeate the simple aesthetic.
Additionally, pockets are placed on the sides of the garment and in the lining.
The lining is made of British wool tweed.
British wool has a low oil content and thick fibers, resulting in a dry, crisp feel. It also offers excellent heat retention.
• Material Description: Horse leather is characterized by its rough texture and uneven coloring, giving it a rough and wild finish.
Unlike soft horsehide, this material intentionally retains a more textured surface, making each garment unique with variations in color and feel.
The lining uses British wool tweed. British wool has a low oil content and thick fibers, resulting in a dry, crisp feel and excellent heat retention.
