Twin embroidery artists KENDAI will launch a new brand, "WORK OF ART KENDAI," in the Spring/Summer 2024 season.
KENDAI was born on August 11, 1989, and is from Chiba Prefecture.
An artist unit formed by brothers Daichi and Kenta Nishi.
Based on the concept that "embroidery is a tattoo on fabric," the artist began their work in 2018. Their distinctive style is characterized by the use of a "side-swing sewing machine" (a sewing machine in which the needle swings from side to side by adjusting with the foot, and the pattern is created by moving the hands simultaneously. This technique requires a long time to master).
