WORKERS / Lot 806XH, Full-Back, 13.7 oz, Black Raw Denim

We've created a truly rare, first-type, big size 46 full-back jacket. Or rather, "we ended up making it." Originally, large-sized denim jackets are made with narrow selvedge denim, resulting in a T-back design with a split in the back. The meter required for one jacket is called the "manual length," but we ignored that and eliminated the split to create a full-back jacket. I was always puzzled why a big-size full-back jacket existed instead of a T-back, but now I understand. They're made by mistake. I learned that the hard way. However, once you make it, you realize that because there's no vertical stitching on the back, it doesn't rub against your skin. As a product, it's fantastic, so we're selling it. One size. It's raw, unshrunk/untreated, and has no anti-twist treatment, so the product will be shipped in an over-washed, shrunk state. The body and shoulder widths are wide, but the sleeve length has been shortened so that the sleeves aren't too long even for people with an average Japanese build. The black version is 7 count vertically and horizontally. EMOT (Eastern Memphis Orleans Texas) is a 100% American cotton, medium-staple cotton yarn called "WKS-MEM7," which WORKERS had specially made with an original uneven texture. When creating our original denim, we wanted to know what kind of cotton L used in the past. So, we asked a Japanese cotton import company to arrange a tour of grain majors, farms, and cotton sorting facilities in Memphis. The most helpful person was a veteran employee of a grain major. "What kind of cotton did denim spinning mills like Cone Mills use in the past?" The answer was simply "American cotton blends." In the past, American cotton was cheaper to obtain than imported from overseas. Furthermore, the reason for "blending" was for quality stability. Fiber length, cotton color, and the amount of cotton husk remaining. To ensure that these are as "the same every year" as possible, blending is the most stable option. If you specify a particular field or type of cotton, you're out of luck if a drought, flood, or pest infestation prevents a harvest. That's why it was "a blend of American EMOT cotton." WORKERS also used EMOT cotton, and the uneven texture of the yarn was imitated by taking apart vintage clothing. That's what WKS-MEM7 is. At the time, no yarn manufacturer was producing "American cotton EMOT 100, No. 7 yarn" as their original product. Initially, when we heard that we could make over 1000 strands of yarn for jeans all at once, we were half excited and half apprehensive about whether we could really produce and sell that much.
