Description
"Balise" means "sign" in French, and this new model represents the size and detail between workwear and dress, shirt and blouson.
The sizing that can be worn in any situation serves as a guiding pattern for us.
Created a completely new ombre check pattern. Created a border pattern with a 28G Jacquard machine.
Then, by adding a special vertical print, we created an unprecedented Honor Check pattern.
Anticipating the post-print process, I calculated everything with a jacquard machine and inserted thread to create it.
A new standard material that only we can achieve, combining high stretch, comfort, firmness, luster, and easy care once worn.
The details are dress shirts with all roll-up stitches and shell and butterfly buttons.
Among them, sleeves and similar items were created with the image of a casual blouson.
A one-of-a-kind shirt that combines the crispness, sheen, and well-balanced silhouette of the material, blending the dressiness and patterns created by the fabric.
The brand logo is placed on the back of the button.
*Rolled main stitching – To make the fabric feel better against the skin and prevent the edges from being visible, After sewing once, sewing again to fit the coat.
*Ombray check - a checkered pattern where the color boundaries are unclear and the colors change in a gradient-like pattern.

English Description “Balise”—meaning “signpost” in French—is our new style embodying the sizing and details between workwear and dresswear, shirts and blousons. This versatile fit, suitable for any occasion, serves as our guiding pattern. Our signature check fabric. Created using our proprietary 36G Jacquard loom, this check pattern boasts exceptional stretch. Once worn, its unstoppable comfort, crispness, sheen, and easy care make it a new standard fabric only we can achieve. By incorporating 20% wool yarn, we express functionality for all-season wear—including crispness, warmth, and quick-drying properties—alongside unique color tones. During dyeing, heat causes the wool fibers to shrink slightly, creating a subtle crinkle effect. This results in a unique fabric we call Wool Seersucker. Details include dress shirt construction with all flat-felled seams and pearl buttons. The sleeves, however, are designed with a casual blouson feel. This one-of-a-kind shirt blends the fabric's inherent stiffness, sheen, and well-balanced silhouette with a dressy feel and pattern. The brand logo is embroidered on the back of the buttons. ※Rolled hem stitching - A sewing method where the fabric edge is hidden by stitching over it a second time after the initial stitching, ensuring a smooth feel against the skin.
This is an ombre check. As mentioned in the explanation, this process is truly complex and difficult.
First, create the border pattern using only the cotton side. This is the visible fabric on the underside.
After production, a print of the same color is applied vertically. It feels like the ombray is complete, but this is really difficult.
There are also parts that are diagonal, so I adjust them to avoid shifting while creating them, so it really does shift. Mass production is also off, so production is reduced. I'm truly sorry.
Of course, you need the craftsman's ideas and the skills of Kyoto's print factories, and this is a Kanemasa item. I think I made the best thing this season.
This fleshy texture is also nice. I absolutely love the firm feel and the crispy feel of throwing on them.
Also, please check the pattern matching of the sleeves and pockets. Sewing beautifully with strange fabric—this is Kanemasa at its core.
